The Reasearch Process and Me

What do you think about when you hear research?  When I hear the word research I think about lots of work and procrastinating. I don't like thinking about research. I think of procrastinating because I do not like researching so I put it off.
What are the steps in the research process?  When I research I use many steps. First I make a list of all of the things I need to look for. Then I usually go to Google and type in my query. Then I find a website that I think will have useful, accurate information. Then I go back to my list and type, in my own words, the information that I found. I repeat the process until I am done, then I can usually put the paper together off of the notes I have written because I write them in full sentences. I also do a lot of research using books; my mom is a librarian so I can ask her for a book on a certain topic and she will bring some home for me. That is what I do when I research.
Discuss a research paper you did in the past. What were the positive and negative aspects of the experience? Describe  your final product.  When I was in fifth grade I did a research project on Wilma Rudolph for G.T. (Gifted and Talented) While doing the project I did a lot of research using both books and the internet. I used mostly books which was very helpful because I knew the information was true. A negative aspect of a research project would be how time consuming it is, if the research was already given to us we wouldn't have to do so much research and we could spend more time on the final copy.

Why I should be able to go for my lisence.

                                   Driving, a fun thing to do that takes a lot of responsibility. I think I have enough responsibility to drive and I believe I should be able to take drivers-ed. First of all, you guys are always telling me to go somewhere or do something, if I was able to drive I wouldn't be at the house all the time. I could get more things done without having you to drive me places. Like if I had to pick up supplies for a project you wouldn't have to drive me to the store to get the things I need. Lastly I would take good care of  your car, I would not text and drive or call people while I am driving. That is why I think I am responsible enough to be able to learn to drive.
